Antwan Eady grew up in Garnett, SC, where he spent most of his days riding four-wheelers, fishing, and imagining a world without limitations. Eady is the author of the awarding-winning and critically acclaimed picture book NIGEL AND THE MOON along with upcoming titles THE LAST STAND, POEMHOOD: Our Black Revival (a Young Adult poetry anthology), THE GATHERING TABLE, MICAH'S RISE, and BEFORE THE BRIDGE.

 

When he isn’t writing, he’s visiting schools, libraries, and colleges throughout the country or searching for the best Lowcountry boil in Savannah, GA where he currently resides.
